- Controlled Sand Acceleration – Sand is propelled upward through a blast tube at a controlled rate, striking a conical target where the reclamation action occurs.
- Self-Scrubbing Action – The sand scrubs against itself beneath the target, effectively removing residual binder and fines. This self-scrubbing process significantly reduces maintenance and wear part replacement.
- Efficient Dust Extraction – As reclaimed sand falls from the target area, it is exposed to exhaust air drawn through a shroud around the target. This airflow captures loosened binders and fines, directing them to the dust collector.
- Consistent Sand Quality – By removing excess fines and binder, the system helps maintain proper Loss on Ignition (LOI) levels and preserves the original sand screen distribution for consistent sand performance.
