The ½” Riffle Splitter accessory is used to prepare a representative sample of unbonded foundry sands for sieve analysis testing.
Fourteen 1/2” chutes divide the sand accurately in half to provide representative sand samples down to 125 grams. This 1/8” Microsplitter (Model 42106B) is needed in conjunction with the 1/2” Riffle Splitter to accurately obtain representative size sand sample small enough for sieve analysis testing.
