Basic Engineering Package
A basic engineering package can be purchased and included in your equipment contract with Simpson. The basic engineering package covers the creation of general arrangement drawings in 2-Dimensions that can be used for the project engineering firm to design auxiliary equipment not included in the scope of the design by Simpson. The general arrangement drawings supply necessary information for a civil engineering firm to design and calculate detailed drawings of steel construction and foundations. This package is only available for Green Field Sites or New Sand Plant Buildings.
Detailed Engineering Package
A detailed engineering package can be purchased and included in your equipment contract with Simpson. The basic engineering package covers the creation of general arrangement drawings in 2-Dimensions that can be used for the project engineering firm to design auxiliary equipment not included in the scope of the design by Simpson. The general arrangement drawings supply necessary information for a civil engineering firm to design and calculate detailed drawings of steel construction and foundations.
Not Included in the Scope of Supply
Unless otherwise specified, the following items, products, and services are not included in the scope of supply for the Basic Engineering Package:
• Installation
• Foundation Calculations and Foundation Drawings
• Structural/Static Calculations and Detailed Manufacturing Drawings for Steel Constructions/Structures
• Detailed Drawings and Detailed Engineering
• Customer Specified Equipment Integrated in the General Arrangement Drawings
Advanced Engineering Package
An advanced engineering package can be purchased and included in your equipment contract with Simpson. The basic engineering package covers the creation of general arrangement drawings in 2-Dimensions and 3-Dimensions that can be used for the project engineering firm to design auxiliary equipment not included in the scope of the design by Simpson. The general arrangement drawings supply necessary information for a civil engineering firm to design and calculate detailed drawings of steel construction and foundations.
