What is the best part of your role?
The best part of my role is working directly with customers, understanding their unique challenges, and seeing how the right Simpson solutions can make a real difference in their foundry operations. It’s rewarding to help customers improve their processes, solve problems, and achieve better results.
What makes Simpson stand out in driving results for foundries?
It’s the combination of reliable equipment and knowledgeable people who work alongside customers as true partners. We understand that every foundry is different, so we listen, share our expertise, and help customers find practical solutions that deliver lasting results.
What do you value most about the relationships/partnerships with our customers?
Trust. For us, the journey doesn’t end when we sell equipment - it’s just the beginning. We value the opportunity to build long-term relationships, understand our customers’ evolving needs, and continue supporting them as a trusted partner throughout their journey.
What’s your most memorable customer moment?
One of my most memorable moments was a long-term project with a bronze foundry. Three years after our equipment was installed, the customer shared that it had fully paid for itself while giving them a clear competitive edge. Seeing the long-term impact of our solution and knowing we played a part in their success was incredibly rewarding and a moment I’m proud to remember.
If you could have a superpower to do your job better, what would it be and why?
I’d love to be able to teleport to any foundry site instantly so I could spend even more time face-to-face with customers. There’s nothing like being in the foundry, seeing the process firsthand, and working alongside customers to understand their challenges and help find the right solutions.
