Tensile Core Box Accessory (9 Cavity)

Used to prepare a standard AFS 2 in. x 2 in. (Metric 50 mm x 50 mm) cylindrical sand specimen for compression, shear, splitting, deformation and tensile tests.

Assists in filling the specimen tube for compactability tests.

To ensure consistent and accurate readings, the Sand Rammer (Model 42100) needs to be isolated from vibration variations.

The vibrations that are created when utilizing the Sand Rammer (Model 42100) can negatively affect the accuracy of test results in addition to disturbing other sensitive instruments on the same bench.
