The Simpson Test Center provides you with a low-cost, risk-free method to define and optimize your process while utilizing a variety of conditions and machine configurations.
As well as support from experimentation, to process development to process optimization and finally to the successful start of production
These tasks frequently include:
- Process consulting and development of high-performance, high-value solutions
- Testing with customer-supplied raw materials
- Designing machine configurations or methods for new products
- Developing and testing new machinery and measurement technologies
- Producing small sample batches for end-user evaluation
- Analyzing and optimizing existing production processes and equipment
- Providing rental machinery with Simpson engineering support for on-site testing when plant conditions require it
Our goal is to help you accurately assess process equipment investments—improving quality, productivity, and material efficiency—while minimizing risk. Visitors are welcome to tour our facility or oversee laboratory testing firsthand.
Equipment
We have a dedicated facility equipped with modern, versatile equipment for testing across a wide range of conditions and machine requirements, including:
- Stainless steel Model LF Simpson Mix-Muller (10 L) with variable speed drive, interchangeable mixing tools, and heating, cooling, or vacuum options.
- Carbon steel Model 05F Simpson Mix-Muller (85 L).
- Model 1-Cell Simpson Even-Flo sand reclaimer with lump reduction and metallic separation for reclamation testing.
- Full foundry sand laboratory and standard process evaluation equipment.
