Julie Dienst McMillin

Julie McMillin is the Vice-President of Administration and Chief Information Officer of Simpson Technologies Corporation in Aurora, IL USA.  Julie also serves on the Simpson Technologies Corporation Board of Directors.  Julie is the great, great granddaughter of Simpson Technologies Corporation founder Peter L. Simpson.  Julie joined Simpson full time in February, 1998 and in 2012 became one of the fifth generation of the family to assume an executive role.

As VP Administration and CIO Julie directs, plans and manages the Company’s human resources, executive administration and all information technology systems to assure the efficient operation and development of the Simpson team worldwide.  As a member of the executive team, Julie participates in planning corporate growth and coordinating the strategic plan with the development of information systems and human resource policies.  Most recently, Julie led a two-year project implementing the cloud based Microsoft Dynamics D365 as the ERP and CRM standard in both the US and German offices creating an integrated global database of customer, product and financial information.

Before joining Simpson, Julie worked at Arthur Andersen in Chicago, IL USA and in their worldwide training center in St. Charles, IL USA.  At Arthur Andersen, Julie developed computer system training for clients and coordinated Management Development course offerings for internal personnel.

Julie graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems.
