The Challenge
The improved agitator mounting bracket was designed to address customer reports of premature bracket failure in the field. The old bracket design also allowed for an unwanted buildup of molding sand.
Simpson Solution
The original agitator mounting bracket has been upgraded to strengthen its design and eliminate the buildup of molding sand.
The improved designed agitator mounting bracket provides a foundry with the following advantages:
- Stronger: eliminate part breakage
- Reduce sand build up: increased test accuracy and lower maintenance costs
- Directory interchangeable: no additional parts or tester modification are required to install improved part
Installation requires removal of existing agitator mounting bracket and installing new agitator mounting bracket. Estimated time for completion – 30 minutes.
