Simpson Technologies GmbH welcomes you to visit us at Metef, the expo of customized technology for the aluminum, foundry castings and innovative metals industry. This year the show is being held at Veronafiere in Verona, Italy from June 21st though the June 24th. Stop by to see us in Hall 2 at Stand D28-E29.
This is our first time exhibiting at Metef which is Italy’s only international event that supports the global metalcasting industry. The show offers a full display of equipment for both ferrous and non-ferrous foundries, energy efficient machinery, plant engineering, new state-of-the-art technologies, and recovery and recycling systems.
Simpson will be displaying sand laboratory instrumentation including the 42104 – Electronic Strength Machine, 42160 – Digital Pneumatic Sand Squeezer, 42105 Digital Absolute Permmeter, PFP – Mold Strength Tester, and the 42112 Wet Tensile Tester. The Simpson Analytics product line offers easy operation, accurate digital display, repeatable results, and automatic functionality. A brief description of each machine and a linked demonstration of the technology can be viewed below:
• 42104 Electronic Universal Sand Strength Machine – used to determine the strength properties of clay and/or chemically bonded sand specimens.
• 42105 Digital Absolute Permmeter – automatically measure the permeability of a standard 50mm x 50mm sand specimen and determines how easily air passes through it.
• 42160 Digital Pneumatic Sand Squeezer – used to prepare standard 50mm x 50mm sand specimen and to determine the compactability of prepared molding sand.
• PFP Mold Strength Tester – used to determine the mold hardness strength of test specimens and sand molds.
